2023 Population: NPC Solicits For NSCDC Support In Kaduna


According to him, he was in the NSCDC office to solicit for the support of the command, in ensuring the success of the forth coming population census

The Federal Commissioner, National Population Commission (NPC), Dr. Abdulmalik Mohammed DuruGuna along his entourage, paid a courtesy visit to the Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna Command,
Idris Yahaya Ada to solicit for his support in the forth coming 2023 National Population census across the state.

Dr. Abdulmalik pointed out that the forth coming 2023 population census would not be successful without the assistance of security operatives.

He further added that with the successful census in place, there would be rapid development of the country

“As a federal organisations, we owed ourselves a duty to familiarize ourselves, so that we can be able to work together to make Nigeria proud.” He said

He thanked the Commandant for the support they have been receiving from the corps which has helped them tremendously.

Responding, the Kaduna Commandant,
Idris Yahaya Adah, said part of the NSCDC mandate is the protection of lives and property, protection of critical national assets and infrastructure, adding that it’s also, their mandate to also support, protect NPC when the need arises.
