The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command, Idris Yahaya Adah has advised officers and men of the corps to save part of their salaries monthly with cooperative, so as to have something to fall back, immediately after retirement.
Speaking during the presentation of cheque to Assistant Commandant (ACC) Jonathan Ayila (Rtd), in his office, Commandant Yahaya noted investing in cooperative would enhance sustainable living after retirement.
According to him, as officers and men of the corps, it becomes imperatives for all officers to plan for their retirement.
” With monthly saving or investment with cooperative, a retired officer can immediately fall back to his contributions until his full benefits are paid.” He said
Speaking earlier, ASC1 Sunday Haruna said they were in the Commandant’s office to present a cheque to ACC Jonathan Ayila being a contributive member of cooperative.
He equally begged officers to contribute as little as they can for the raining day.
Responding, ACC Jonathan Ayila (Rtd) who was elated as he received his contributions, said the money would go along way to assist him, while awaiting his benefits
