The Advocacy for Good Governance (AGOOG)has applauded the Commandant General,
Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Dr. Ahmed Audi for laying a solid foundation for the corps within his hundred days in office.
The Group in a statement in Kaduna signed by the Chairman, Okpani Ewawoche Abutu and made available to newsmen in Kaduna on Thursday, described Dr. Audi as an intellectual workaholic officer and a Miracle worker who reneged on fulfilling his promises.
According to Okpani Ewawoche, CG Dr. Audi has achieved in three months what no other man can achieve in three years.
The statement while praying for Dr. Audi to continue to exhibit the good leadership style, also praised President Muhammad Buhari for choosing a prudent, intellectual and accomplished, credible leader in the person of Dr. Audi to turn the fortune of the corps within a short period of time.
” Dr. Audi was appointed on March 2, 2021 after the exit of former CG, Gana. During his acceptance speech, Dr. Audi promised to turn the fortune of the corps within a short time.
” Just between March and May 2021, he has created a formidable female corps that can compete favourably with their counterparts all over the world
” Within a widow of three months, all issues about age long arrears of promoted personnel, has been settled. This would further motivate officers and men of the corps
” Dr. Audi has promoted officers who have been stagnated, across board.” The statement further said
According to Okpani Ewawoche, Nigerians need the type of Dr. Audi to turn the fortune of Nigerians by giving them the sense of understanding, knowledge to be creative and industrious.
” For the first time in the history of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence corps, a personnel with credible record of administration was selected from each of the 36 states to lead the corps as a commandant of a state.
” With the speed Dr. Audi is moving the corps, give it one year, two years, NSCDC will be the most brightest, paramilitary outfit that must be emulated by the entire world.
” Dr. Audi is a man of his words, what he says he will do, by the Grace of God, he will accomplish his task. ” The statement further added
The statement while congratulating the new CG for his 100 days in office, and prayed to Almighty God to always direct him in the right part, further pleaded with president Buhari to give NSCDC CG Audi all the cooperation, materials needed to accomplish his task
