Sen.  Isah Jibrin ECHOCHO, Inspects Various  Projects, Commends Contractors.

As part of his efforts at ensuring good governance, by providing social amenities to his people, the senator representing Kogi East senatorial district in the 9th senate, Dr. Isah Jibrin had on Saturday 28th of November 2020 inspected the sites for the installation of electricity/of 500KVA Transformer to the good people of Igodo Community in Ojaji ward of Omala local govenment.

Also, inspected, are the site of the reactivation of Acharu Palm Oil Mill, and the construction of Bread bakery at the Kogi State University, Anyigba.

In a statement on Tuesday, by his SA Media & Publicity, Mr.
Salifu Elijah Idoko said, the Senator was ably represented by delegation led by his legislative Aid Ibrahim Ahmadu and SA media & publicity, Salifu Elijah Idoko.

“At Igodo, the delegation was received by the community leader Alh. Abdul Igodo and the site Engineer, Engr. Julius Ola who conducted the delegation round the community for inspection.

“The Engineer promised to deliver the job on time, commended the community leader and the people for their hospitality and appreciated Senator Isah Jibrin for having his people in thought always.” The statement added

“I want to thank Senator Isah for remembering the community for this project, I’m happy because he is the type of Senator that I wish could represent every part of Nigeria. He is somebody any Community will like to vote for, he is too committed to his manifestoes.

I was part of the Engineers that worked on the provision of electricity to five (5) Communities in Ankpa local government last year ( 2019). I am using this medium to appeal to the community to protect all the equipment especially the armoured cables against thieves and vandals as this is the only means to appreciate what the Senator had done for them” The Engineer explained

Similarly, the candidate of All Progressives Congress in Omala local government Hon Yakubu Aboh, represented by Hon Maji Danjuma( Together) at the site inspection, commended Senator Isah Jibrin for delivering on his campaign promises. ” I want to appreciate our amiable Senator, for demonstrating leadership, he is somebody we can send even with our eyes closed. He can deliver effectively and the result is this Rural Electrification, which is dividends of democracy. We have never seen this before. We will keep sending him to represent us because he is a good messenger. May God strengthen and protect him for us and the sky shall be his limit” alias Together prayed.

The community leader, Alh. Abdul Igodo thanked the Senator for fulfilling his promises to the people and prayed God almighty to strengthen him and assured the Engineer that the community will protect the installations with all they got.

At Acharu, the Engineers handling the reactivation of the hitherto moribund NIFOR Palm Oil Mill on site, Engr Andrew commended the delegation and took turns to explain that their work is already at advance stage as all the machineries has already been fixed and tested properly awaiting the completion of the administrative building and the Boreholes, which is to serve the Mill. ” We have converted the Mill from 1980 system to the mordern pattern, it will run on new pattern” he said.

The situation is almost the same at the Kogi State University Bakery where Engineer Tochukwu, the contractor handling the work showed the delegation the various section of the factory and the installation of all the machines which include the mixer, roller and the oven. The Engineer promised that the work will be completed in few days for final handing over and commissioning as the factory distribution Van has been procured.

The delegation expressed their satisfaction at the various projects site, complimented the contractors for the speedy pace at which the works are going and reiterated the Senator’s stand on zero tolerance for shaddy job as no contractor shall be spared in an event of substandard job delivery as another team of delegation of quality control specialist and expertise will soon visit the site to ensure conformity to the job specification.

The various Engineers expressed confidence on the quality of the materials and machines used for the job.

It was a testimony of the hospitality disposition of the Igala-Bassa people from the various Engineers.
