Eid-el-Fitr: NSCDC Kaduna deploys 3000 Officers

NSCDC Kaduna state command has
deployed 3000 personnel to ensure intra and inter-state travel ban.

In a statement on Thursday, which was signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, ASC Omdiir Terzungwe, the state Commandant, Babangida Abdullahi Dutsema said the 3,000 personnel deployed to nooks and crannies of the state will ensure that order on COVID-19 is obeyed, and ensure peaceful Eid-el-Fitri

The statement warned residents in the state to adhere strikingly to lockdown order this Eid-el-Fitr period or risk being sanctioned.
According to the statement, “the state Commandant, Babangida Abdullahi Dutsinma, while felicitating with Moslem Umah on Sallah celebration and successful completion of spiritual obligation of Ramadan fast,
advised resident to obey restriction of movement directive

” the Covid-19 order is for the collective good of the people. Anyone who violates the lockdown order by embarking on intra or inter-state movement, and is caught shall face the wrath of the law.” The statement said

“The officers deployed will ensure hitch free Eid-el-Fitr, and I urge residents of border communities to cooperate with security agencies by not allowing desperate people to take advantage of illegal routes in their domain

” Head of Operations, all Area Commanders and Divisional Officers have been directed and have mobilised fully to curtail influx of people in the state accounts for the rising incidence of coronavirus in the state.

‘All these measures have become necessary in preventing community spread.” The statement further said

The statement urged Moslems to use the Eid-el-Fitr period to pray for Nigeria especially against challenges of terrorism and insurgency, banditry, cattle rustling, ethnic militia and end to the novel Corona virus.
