NSCDC Kaduna Headquarters Relocates to New  Office



As part of efforts to boost the performance of it’s officers and men in tackling security challenges with a view to achieve optimal performance, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State command has relocated its Headquarters.

In a statement issued and signed by the Public Relations Officer of the command, ASC Orndiir Terzungwe said, the Headquarters was relocated to,  No 9, Moreland Kukuwa Street, located after Kaduna State University Teaching Hospital, formerly Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital.

His words: “The movement is sequel to allocation of a new office complex by the State Government under Mallam Nasir Ahmed el-Rufai.

“Last September, the command under its new leadership led by Babangida Abdullahi Dutsin-ma, the State Commandant, had approached the state government to request for another office in a bid to reposition the command for effective service delivery.

“Further, the corps sought for an official residence for the State Commandant and forms of assistance in order to operate exclusively without inconveniencing employees of the state as it happened in the former office.

He explained that, “Dutsinma  appreciated the state government on the kind gesture, and also, expressed delight on the allocation, stating that it will serve as a catalyst in boosting the performance of the command in tackling security challenges bedeviling the state.

He directed members of the management team to consider all forms of support given to the command as call to duty which he stressed must be carried out diligently.

The Commandant who restates determination of the command in addressing security challenges also tasked the public on supporting the corps with useful and timely information.
