FCT State Minister Harps On Selfless Service

FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has pledged the Administration’s support to organisations and groups that are rendering selfless services to orphans and less privileged in the society.

In specific terms, she said that the FCT Administration will stand to serve as a pillar of support to such foundations, stressing that acts of selflessness and kindness irrespective of ethnicity will promote nation building.

Aliyu made this pledge during the disbursement of education scholarship to 67 orphans for North-East and North-West geographical zone, organised by the Mighty One Empowerment Foundation in collaboration with Abundant Grace Initiative for Women and Children held in Abuja.

She commended the Mighty One Empowerment Foundation for their selfless acts of service to humanity, adding that the foundation has impacted meaningfully on the lives of the less privileged and orphans.

The minister affirmed that the sole objective of the foundation is in line with the concentration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration vision which targets uplifting of the downtrodden as regards to security and provision of a moderate life, shelter, and basic needs.

According to her, “The FCT Administration will stand to serve as a pillar of support to the foundation’s goodwill and other foundations with similar vision.

“The efforts of rendering a selfless service will go a long and immeasurable way in the development of the country, and its sole objective is in line with the concentration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration which targets uplifting of the downtrodden as regards to security and provision of a moderate life, shelter, and basic needs”.

She further advised that individuals put their foot first in showing appreciation to one another regardless of their ethnicity or race.

The highpoint of the event was the induction of FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu and other eminent personalities into Education International Hall of Fame and presentation of scholarship award letters to some indigent orphans.
