Kaduna Deputy Governor Inspecting facilities
Her Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State and the Commissioner supervising the Ministry of Health paid an unscheduled visit to General Hospital, Rigasa this morning to asses both the working and facility conditions of the hospital.
Dr. Hadiza directed the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Maryam Apanpa to issue a query to the five medical doctors on call who were not on duty as at 10 am when her Excellency completed her inspection and left the facility. She also expressed displeasure on the sanitary condition of the hospital and charged the CMD to immediately address the problem and ensure attitude change among workers.
The visit was prompted by a Twitter post by a concerned citizen, Abubakar M Yushu’u, who called the attention of the government on the poor sanitary condition of the faciity and poor attitude of health personnel at the hospital.
