Succour has come all the way for people and residents of Kakuri-Kaduna South Local Government area of Kaduna state as Rotary Club of Kakuri District 9125 provides free Hepatitis test for residents who want to know their health status.
Speaking in an interview with WORLDLINK online news on Saturday at the Kakuri District head office where the test is being conducted, President of Rotary Club of Kakuri District 9125 Nigeria, Mrs. Victoria Ele-ojo Adejo explained that members of the Rotary have decided to conduct free medical test on Hepatitis B&C for the residents of the area who are desirous to know their health status.

According to her, Rotary is a voluntary organisation ready to carry out humanitarian activities around the world.
Her words: ” in view of that, Rotary Club of Kakuri District 9125 is collaborating with Rotarians Action Group to provide test on Hepatitis B&C for the residents of Kakuri-Kaduna as part of our contributions to World Hepatitis Zero Day.”
She observed that people suffered from untold hardship, sickness even as some met their untimely death because they have failed to know their health status with a view to proffer solutions when necessary.
” Since a stick in time saves nine, if you know your health status, you will provide urgent medication before it’s too late. The purpose of Hepatitis test, if for people to know their health status.” She said
She further said that those who are tested positive, will be referred to appropriate hospital for medication so that the situation would not get out of hands.
Rotary President Victoria Ele-ojo who was worried at the rate at which people are infected with disease these days noted that Rotary under her leadership will as from next week extend her visitation to Maraban Kajuru, to provide relief materials to those staying in the IDP camp across the local government
She estimated the the cost of food items and clothing materials to be taken there at over a million Naira
She called on the residents of Kakuri- Kaduna to come out enmass and present themselves for free Hepatitis test with a view to know their health status.
