Serving Corps members during the service year
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Anambra State in its strive to curb the increasing spate of drug abuse weekend asked corps members addicted to drugs to embrace the opportunity the agency is giving by embracing its rehabilitation process.
Addressing 2019 Batch B Stream 1 corps members at the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp, Umunya, Oyi Local Government Area of the state., the state Public Relations Officer of the agency, Charles Odigie regretted the increasing case of drug abuse particularly among the youths.
He pledged the agency’s readiness to assist the victims overcome the challenge.
Odigie urged them to shun drugs and stay drug-free at all times.
He said, “Corps members who are already addicted to drugs are enjoined to come forward for rehabilitation.
“Come forward for rehabilitation if you are already addicted to drugs and we promise to help you overcome your problems. Shun friends and acquaintances who abuse drugs
