Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi Hosts Yohanna Buru, Several Pastors To Iftar In His Kaduna Residence

Popular Islamic cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi has urged Nigerians to live peacefully with one another irrespective of religious, ethnic or other differences.

He gave the charge just as popular Christian cleric and peace builder, Pastor Yohanna Buru led several other Christian clerics to break the Ramadan Fast, known as “Iftar at his residence in Kaduna.”

The renowned Islamic cleric said Nigeria can become greater if divisions, strife and religious intolerance are done away with.

Speaking further, he prayed for a successful inauguration of President Muhammad Buhari and all the Governors as it is held nationwide on Wednesday May 29, 2019, while praying for Gid’s wisdom and guidance in the piloting of affairs.

In his remarks, Pastor Yohanna Buru said that both Muslims and Christians were created by one God and have common ancestral claims to Abraham.
He wondered why crisis brews up between followers of both dominant faith, stressing that peaceful coexistence between both religions will translate to a better world.

On the Iftar with the revered Islamic cleric, he explained that it was an annual tradition that has been on for some years.

The Iftar which witnessed the presence of other Islamic cleric, saw all the guests treated to variety of dishes as they ate in love and joy.
