Senator Isah Jibrin (Echocho) Monday in Abuja, described Honorable Commissioner for Works & Housing, Engr Abubakar Sadiku Ohere as positively talented Professional who had demonstrated his mettle over the years.
In a statement by Special Adviser to Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho)
(Media & Publicity), Mr. Salifu Elijah Idoko said,
“Senator Echocho who delivered his opening address as special guest of honor at the reception organized for Engr Abubakar Ohere Fnse, at the Water Fountain, Jahi Abuja, prayed for God’s guidance and protection in all area of his endeavours.
The statement further added that, “Abubakar Sadiku Ohere is a talented Professional with the capacity to excel in Nigeria and beyond.
“You have carved a niche for yourself in Engineering profession and this attainment will propel you to greater heights in Nigeria and beyond”
“The ceremony had several top Government functionaries in attendance to includes; Distinguished Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho) of KogiEast, Sen Yakubu Oseni of Kogi Central, speaker of Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Matthew Kolawole and his deputy Hon Ahmed Muhammed of Ankpa I state Constituency.”
The statement names others as: Rep Ahmed Tijani Damisa of Okene Federal Constituency, Idrisu Lawal of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon David Zakarias of Idah Federal Constituency, represented by his Senior Legislative Aid (SLA, Mr Momoh Rilwan) Hon Daniel Onè Ejigbo Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon Bashir Gegu Commissioner for Solid Minerals, candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the December 12, Local Government poll, key Government functionaries and other well meaning Kogites were available at the heavily attended occasion.
“Event coordinator, Mr Ohinohi Emmanuel, commended Sen Jibrin Isah for his resilience and selfless service to his district. ” If I have my way, I would have taken you to Kogi Central, get you a land, confers on you with Chieftaincy Titles and have you prevailed on to represent us in government, because you have showcased and brought your experience to bear at the Senate with the little time spent there” Mr Ohinohi stated jokingly.
“Senator Isah Jibrin however, used the occasion to extend his condolences to the family of Late Suleiman Kokori Abdul who passed on to glory over the weekend and since been buried according to Islamic rite.
“He noted that, Hon Suleiman Kokori until his death was Federal Commissioner representing the state in the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission.(RMAFC)
He prayed Almighty Allah to comfort the family left behind, his political associates, his immediate Community, and the Government of Kogi State. “My thoughts and prayers are with the family, this is a great loss to everyone” he lamented.” The statement further said
