Mrs Lami Patrick was born on the 6th of February 1966 into the noble family of Late Ahmed Shaibu from Gombi local Government area of Adamawa State.
Lami Patrick’s early Education started in Old Government Reservation Area (GRA) primary school in Yola where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
She gained Admission into the Government Girls Secondary School (GGSS) yola and completed in 1986.
Not resting on her oars, she proceeded to the Kaduna State Polytechnic where she bagged a Diploma in Public Administration and subsequently obtained a Higher National Diploma in Public Administration from the same institution.
A committed and hardworking personality, Lami Patrick took on the challenge of being a Teacher in a private establishment Best Start School Kaduna where she performed marvelously to the admiration of her colleagues. She rose through the ranks and reached the peak of her profession.
Not contented to be an onlooker, she resigned her appointment and ventured into politics.
In 2003, she contested for the position of Gombi local Government council Chairman on the People’s Democratic Party ticket and lost. This did not deter her as she tirelessly worked for the growth of the party .
In 2007 She was appointed Special Assistant to the Governor on Political Enlightenment and Mobilization till 2008.
Later that year (2008) she was appointed a part time Member of the Post Primary Schools Management Board. A position she occupied until 2012. And another appointment in 2012 to 2013.
Because of her leadership ability, she was appointed the Coordinator of Northeast Women in Politics Abuja Forum a position she held from 2014 to 2016.
A mobilizer , a staunch supporter of the PDP, an active loyal member of the party . A woman activist full of vibrancy Lami Patrick has been nominated and screened and awaits inauguration and swearing-in as Commissioner on the Fintiri led Administration.
